Tripp Price Houston

We finally have baby boy #2! Not without a little drama though! After 41 weeks, Tripp Price entered the world at 2:09pm June 16th, weighing a healthy 8lbs. 1oz. and 21" long. After going to the Dr. this past Monday, we decided to go ahead and let Dr. Bellardo induce labor Tues. morning. Everything started fine, Tanya's was progressing thru her labor, and we were optimistic that it was going to be a faster, smoother experience compared to her labor with Trence.

Boy were we wrong! Around 1pm the nurse noticed Tripp's heartrate was pretty erratic, and Tanya was also having an unusual amount of bleeding. Not to get into too much detail, but it was pretty alarming. Dr. Bellardo rushed over and told us if this happened again, he felt Tripp's health would be at risk, and he would have to do a cesarean section.

Not twenty minutes after he left us, Tripp's heartrate started ranging again, and we called the nurse in.. again, bleeding had occured, and they called Dr. Bellardo back in, and rushed Tanya to the operating room. Needless to say, we were pretty scared for the next 10 minutes or so while they hurridely prepped her for the cesarean, and went after Tripp.

He came out screaming though, and looked great. The Doctors say he is in great health, and Tanya will be fine.. she will be sore for a few weeks, but we are just blessed that both her and Tripp are healthy! We should be bringing him home from the hospital Friday or Saturday, to which we will have the unusual feeling of being a family of 4!

Josh is the one that actually bought Trence's Easter outfit. He brought it back from the Masters. It was too cute... good job daddy! I love this pic. It is a reminder of what could have been lost in the tornado. These two guys mean the world to me! (getting ready to be three guys ;)

Tornado Pics

This is what Josh saw from our front door! Our neighbor took the picture, not Josh. He was running upstairs to get Trence from his crib. I was on the phone with him when he saw it. You can only imagine what that was like! I just kept yelling get Trence! I made Josh stay on the phone with me while he and Trence were in the closet under the stairs. I was so afraid of what I was going to hear, but I couldn't imagine letting them go and not know. Mama and I were at Cool Springs getting stuff for the house. I never want to be without them again during stormy weather. Although, like Josh said, if I had been home and saw this I probably would have went in labor with Tripp!

This is the guest room window upstairs that got blown out. We are very lucky. This was the only damage to the house besides the fence, back porch, patio furniture, roof, and dog houses.

We are blessed!

We have signed 2 contracts as of last night, one selling our house and the other buying our new home! We are suppose to close March 27th and be out of our house and into the new one before the 31st. This is going to be crazy! I am just so thankful this is all taking place before I get any bigger. My belly is growing so fast. I am constantly feeling bloated and uncomfortable. Mix that with running after a fast crawling infant and showing the house and you've got a very hormonal pregnant lady. I was already getting prepared to take the house off the market in May because I thought it was going to be too hard to show the last month of pregnancy and then having a newborn. God really has looked out for us. Here is a pic of my favorite room in the new house. :)

we are having another BOY!!! Wow, I have to say I don't know how I feel about having that much testosterone in the house! It is going to be so darn cute seeing two little boys grow up so close together though.
